Korovy Val Moscow, Russia - Tuesday 21 November 2023 - The Minister of Technical and Higher Education, Dr. Haja Ramatulai Wurie and her personal assistant/student Secretary Mr. George Agbeigeima Dambo have arrived in Moscow, Russia.

She joins the Minister of Mines and Mineral Resources, Hon. Julius Mattai, NMA DG and other officials.

The high-power delegation is in Moscow, Russian Federation for this all-important conference and to also attend several significant bilateral meetings at the margins during their week-long stay in the Russian capital.

Dr. Wurie is the keynote speaker in the session on Fundamental and Clinical Medicine and a plenary session: "Africa's Pathway to Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals: An Integrated Approach."

In one of the important sessions that has to do with climate change and the environment, the Minister of Mines and Mineral Resources, Hon. Mattai will be speaking on the topic: Opportunities and Challenges of Addressing UN SDG 9 in Sierra Leone's Mining Sector."
