Korovy Val Moscow Russia - At a jam-packed Moscow-Africa Business Forum, His Excellency Ambassador Mohamed Yongawo invites the business community to consider doing business in Sierra Leone.


The forum was graced by Heads of Diplomatic Missions and CEOs of industries and was organized by the Trade and Economic Cooperation Department of the Moscow City Government.

In his brief remarks at the Forum, which he delivered in Russian Language, Ambassador Yongawo mentioned President Bio's five key priority areas: Feed Salone, Youth Employment, Human Capital development, IT, and infrastructure.

H.E. Yongawo implored the Russian government; the Moscow City Government and private entities present to collaborate with the government of Sierra Leone and private businesses.

According to the shrewd diplomat, "It will, among others, help deepen bilateral economic cooperation and relations between our two nations and people."

"Sierra Leone is open for business, collaboration, and investments. We are calling on the business community, companies small and big to cooperate in establishing business in Sierra Leone and Africa."

Ambassador Yongawo ended by informing the audience that there are individuals across several sectors in both government and private who were educated in the Soviet Union and Russia, including himself and that this may serve as a starting point in establishing productive business relationships.
